Our team benefits from time flexibility, an improved work-life balance, and the opportunity to work in environments that best suit their work styles. All of which lead to a better quality of work and higher productivity. By making use of different online platforms we keep the team in sync and on track. We love Slack to streamline communication and enable collaboration.

CHALLENGES OF REMOTE WORKING 

WFH is wonderful. But it's not without its challenges. When your personal life and your work are both under the same roof, it's harder to switch off, and can often feel isolating. Creating a positive work environment digitally and physically is key. At Route, we make sure we have the best systems in place in order to keep our team feeling supported and interactive. The easiest way to do this is by making sure that there is a sense of community, allowing individuals to form connections between each other, and offer support when needed.

IS REMOTE WORK THE BEST WAY FORWARD?

Post-COVID remote work has changed our professional environments for good, making it easier for anyone to operate from anywhere in the world. At Route, we have been able to build a virtual coworking ecosystem that allows us to easily collaborate online. Using platforms such as Zoom for face-to-face calls, Canva for collaborative content creation, Toggl to ensure that our time is getting used in the most efficient ways, amongst other tools which allow our team to influence ongoing projects.
